Child Nutrition

Healthy never tasted so good
Wholesome Tummies and WT Cafe meals are designed to significantly contribute to your child’s overall daily nutrition. Our freshly-prepared lunches not only taste great, they combine complete proteins, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and healthy fats for a nutrient-packed meal that provides your child with the energy needed to concentrate on their afternoon studies, without feeling sluggish.

Low fat, low-sodium and sugar-free isn’t always the healthy choice
Many low fat foods are highly processed, stripping away essential nutrients. Synthetic vitamins, additives, conditioners and preservatives are added to give the low-fat food a longer shelf life. We believe real, whole foods, in their most natural state, offer the best nutrition and taste. At Wholesome Tummies, moderation is a key element in all of our recipes. We incorporate real cream, real butter, a variety of cheeses such as Cheddar and Parmesan, organic cane sugar, kosher salt, olive and canola oils into many of our recipes. But we do so in moderation, balancing flavor with sound nutrition.
Our Nutritional Standards:  The New Gold Standard
We've raised the bar for child nutrition - and it's really, really high!  We promise that our main entrees will:

  • never exceed more than 10g of saturated fat per serving
  • contain no more than 600mg of sodium per serving
  • contain at least 6g dietary fiber
  • contain at least 12g protein
