What is the size difference between a Regular portion and a Large Portion? And what is an “Extra Entrée”
Our portion sizes are guided by many factors including calorie requirements and other nutritional needs by age. A Regular sized portion is sized for average eaters- ages 6-11 year olds. Large portions are appropriately sized for kids ages 12-15 year olds. 15-18 year olds might do best ordering a Large and adding an extra portion on top of that.
Anyone can order an
“extra entrée” with any order.
How can I view my orders?
Click
“Manage My Account” and then
"View/Edit Orders". From there you can print a handy
PDF of your orders in calendar format.
How can I add another child to my account?
What is the cut off time for ordering?
You may order from a variety of options up to 36 hours in advance of delivery (Saturday midnight for Mondays orders) or as late as 8am the very same morning for our rush lunch option.
What kinds of sides will my child receive with their lunch?
For our Pre-school lunches, each child will receive a rotating selection of 1 fresh fruit and 1 fresh veggie and dip. For our K-12 lunches each child will receive 2 sides, from their choice of fresh fruits, fresh veggies and all-natural and organic snacks.
How will my child receive their lunch?
Lunches will be delivered directly to school in time for lunch each day. We send our hot food in special equipment designed to keep lunches at the optimum temperature. Our cold foods are sent on ice to ensure they are kept cold until mealtime.
All your child needs to do is approach the lunch line with their name, it is that easy!
Will my account balance carry over until the following year?
Yes, all account balances will still be active as long as your child is a student in any of our partner schools.
CANCELING OR CHANGING A LUNCH ORDERED
Can an order be canceled?
Yes, just log into your account and click
“view/edit orders” find the order you wish to cancel and click the
“recycle bin” next to the order. You may cancel orders as late as 8am the very same day.
How do I edit an order I placed?
Log into your account, click
“view/edit orders” and find the order you wish to edit. Click the
“edit” icon, make your changes and hit submit. You will receive another email confirmation after you have edited your order.
NUTRITION / ALLERGIES
Do you have options for children with particular allergies?
Yes, we offer a completely nut-free menu, however if your child has severe nut allergies, we recommend that you still do not order from us as we may used shared equipment that may have come into contact with nut products.
We also offer a wide selection of Gluten Free and Dairy free items.
How can I find calorie (carbohydrate, protein, etc..) counts of a particular entrée?
Simply click on the
“view nutrition” box next to the entrée name from the ordering screen. You will be able to see a full nutritional label!
Can I order a Regular sized portion for my high schooler? She doesn’t have a huge appetite?
Of course, we give you the total flexibility and every child’s eating habits are different. We offer the Regular and Large sizes for your convenience, by day, so you can customize their lunch based on the day they are eating it!
BIRTHDAY PROGRAM
Can I customize my child’s cookie cake?
Yes! Please indicate their name or what you would like it to say on the order form and we will personalize the cake!
Can I order an extra cake or platter of fruit in addition to the first one?
Absolutely, just indicate how many you would like to order right on the order form. We recommend 2 cookie cakes if you are feeding more than 18 children.
